Key Ring Pen – Green with Yellow Swirl – 707009

Having made a few key ring pens which proved very popular. I decided to make this as a commission as a gift for my wife’s friend
This particular pen is made from attractive green with yellow swirl pattern acrylic.
The material blank is cut to make the two parts of the pen body. These two blanks are then turned on a wood lathe to the required diameters to fit the 22ct gold plated fittings.
Once the shape has be completed they are sanded smooth using several grades of wet & dry abrasive paper finishing with 1600 grit. Micromesh abrasive is then used in various grade ending up with 12000 grit. Cutting paste is then applied whilst the lathe is spinning and is then buffed to a high gloss. Once complete the various components are assembled using a ‘Parker Mini’ type refill.
The writing tip is extended by twisting the upper and lower body halves, then the opposite rotation to retract for safety. To replace the refill the upper and lower body parts are carefully pulled apart to allow the refill to be removed.

Classic Screw Top – Blue Swirl Acrylic – 50867

This contemporary looking screw top ballpoint was made using a multi coloured acrylic blank. The swirling colours create this interesting and eye catching effect.

The metal fittings have a matt black finish to contrast with the highly polished blue and yellow swirl pattern acrylic body. The body and top were turned from a single piece of acrylic which allows the pattern to follow through from one piece to the other.

A black Parker type refill is fitted as standard, but can easy be changed by carefully unscrewing the lower black section from the coloured part of the pen. This standard refill can be purchased at most stationary stores.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.

Twist Action Ballpoint – Yellow stripe Laminate 50871

This pen was made using an unusual type of plywood. The plies are dyed prior to lamination to create this stripy effect

The metal fittings have a satin chrome finish to contrast with the polished wood. A ribbed rubber grip is incorporated to increase comfort for those who like to write!

A black Cross type refill is fitted as standard, but can easy be changed by carefully fulling the two halves of the pen apart. This standard refill can be purchased at most stationary stores.

Twist Action Sierra Ballpoint – Blue & Yellow Swirl Acrylic – 50540

This unique twist action ball point pen was created using a blue & yellow swirl pattern acrylic blank. The swirling colours create this interesting and eye catching effect.

The metal fittings have a highly polished Chrome plate finish to contrast with the highly polished black grip and end cap. The swirly patterned body of the pen is separated from the polished black grip by an attractive Chrome plated engraved band.

A black Parker type refill is fitted as standard, but can easy be changed by carefully pulling the lower metal section from the coloured part of the pen. The metal twist mechanism is then unscrewed to reveal the refill.

This standard refill can be purchased at most stationary stores.
