Following on from my extremely popular bolt action bullet pens I have a smaller, version available suitable for smaller pockets or ideal for the lady shooter’s handbag. Just 10.5cm long!

This handmade bolt action bullet pen has a real bolt action which opens the ballpoint pen! No twisting or clicking to do. Grab the bolt action and slide it down, lock it in place and start writing.

Any shooter will appreciate how this pen works and it will be the talk of the town.

The wooden section is hand turned in my workshop from a piece of wany grained Sweet Chestnut which has a course grain with darker striping.

Replacement Mini Parker Style ink cartridges can be found at most stationers.

You’ll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.

Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box. The pen in the picture is the one you will receive.

If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible but we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.

Shock Absorber Pen – Chequered Acrylic – 512128

This is an unusual pen design based on a racing car shock absorber idea. The cylinder cover is made from hand-turned chequer pattern acrylic to keep that racing theme!

The spring platforms actually compress the spring just like the real thing!

Once the chequered cap is unscrewed it can be fitted to the opposite end of the damper to help the pens ergonomics.

The refill is a Parker mini type available at most good stationary suppliers and can be changed by unscrewing the writing tip from the main body of the pen before pulling out the refill.

This is an ideal gift for the petrol-head in your family or friends!

Shotgun Cartridge Bullet Pen – 50215

This pen was made as a special commission for a customer after they saw the 1213 – Thuya Burr Shotgun Cartridge Pen purchased by a mutual friend.

This roller ball pen was inspired by using a combination of a shotgun cartridge for the top cap and a 30 cal bullet for the main body of the pen. Its unique design makes it the ideal gift of anyone interested in shooting, be it game, clays or targets.

This particular pen has been made using the a piece of Brown Wavy Sweet Chestnut to create the top section with its engraved 22ct plated cartridge cap. A detailed miniature shotgun is used to create the clip.

The main body of the pen is also from the same piece of Sweet Chestnut. A replica 30cal bullet is used to create the writing tip, whilst the 30cal case and replica primer is used to to close the top of the pen.

All metalwork is 22ct gold plated to enhance the appearance.

The pen has been made by hand turning a piece of Sweet Chestnut timber and finishing it to a mirror polish. All external components are glossy gold plated to provide durable and dependable service.

The woodwork was sanded six times with progressively finer grit abrasive to create a very smooth surface. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.
