This pen was made using Two-tone Padauk. This timber comes from African and has the unique feature of having a creamy yellow outer sapwood with a deep redish orange heartwood that darkens with age. When cut carefully blanks have this two tone effect which is quite sought after in wood turning. This pen whilst being mainly from the dark red heartwood does have an interesting flash of the lighter sapwood.

The metal fittings have a polished chrome finish to contrast with the polished wood. The pen is a slim design to increase comfort for those who like to write!

A black Cross type refill is fitted as standard, but can easy be changed by carefully fulling the two halves of the pen apart. This standard refill can be purchased at most stationary stores.

Twist Action Ballpoint – Coconut & Mango – 1204

This is my ‘Caribbean Cocktail Pen’, made from striking Coconut Palm with its black fibers embedded in a lighter tan or light brown coloured body. The pale golden brown grip is made from a piece of Mango wood, hence my name for this pen!

The 10ct Twist Pen features the Artisan style centre band and is accented with black chrome on the writing tip and cap. A premium double-twist mechanism operates the black Cross type refill that is fitted as standard.

However, this can easy be changed by carefully unscrewing the two halves of the pen apart. A standard Cross type refill can be purchased at most stationary stores.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.

West African Zebrawood or Zebrano was used for this pen. It is rather unusual wood as the heartwood is a light brown or cream color with dark blackish brown streaks vaguely resembling a zebra’s stripes. The pen was turned from a single piece of timber to enable the grain of eack section to align when the tip is retracted.

The metal fittings have a satin chrome finish to contrast with the highly polished wood. A ribbed rubber grip is incorporated to increase comfort for those who like to write!

A black Cross type refill is fitted as standard, but can easy be changed by carefully fulling the two halves of the pen apart. This standard refill can be purchased at most stationary stores.
