Taking its inspiration from the world of motor sport, the Race Car stylus ball pen has a unique style. Above the tip are two bands representing a chequered flag, between these is a comfort grip in the form of a tyre. A steering wheel motif on the clip completes styling. The tip has a stylus for use on mobile devices, or you can advance the refill for writing.

The main body of the pen is made from real carbon fibre using tube wound filaments to ensure there is no seam to spoil the effect. A satin gold effect has been selected for the fittings to give an elegant contrast to the dark grey/black of the carbon.

Recycled Miroku shotgun stock Twist Pen Stylus – 200106

This eye-catching pen is made from a single piece of Miroku Grade 5 shotgun stock turned to size and sanded using several grades of abrasive paper and polish to achieve this hi-gloss finish.

Grade V stocks are made from the very highest quality Turkish Walnut featuring exquisite grain figuring. This one had been damaged in use and provided a dark lustrous contrast of the Walnut and the polished deep gold plated fittings

A soft faced stylus tip has been incorporated into the top of the pen to allow its use with tablets and other touch screens. Write notes on paper, then with a simple flip, the stylus can be used to make notes on your tablet!

Made from Turkish Walnut turned down to the appropriate sizes by hand and then sanded with several grades of abrasive cloth until smooth.

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions and will make a memorable gift for any occasion.

The simple twist action retracts the Parker style refill for safe storage.

I originally made a similar pen as a commision to go to Athens. I was pleasantly surprised how attractive the brown swirl body went with the gold fittings. I looks particularly sumptious!

During a comversation with a friend in American, he too said how much he liked the colour combinations and asked me to make a similar version as a gift for his wife.

The Vertex pen has a super smooth, quiet click mechanism. The pen comes with a black ‘Parker’ type refill installed.To change it one simply unscrews the tapered hexagonal tip to reveal the spring and refill Replacements can be obtained from most good stationers.

A velvet sleeve is supplied for everyday protection

Lilac wood with gold fittings Ballpoint – 907001

This elegant slimline pen was turned from a piece of Lilac wood grown in my garden. It was made as a gift for my neighbours great grandson who is an avid Aston Villa Football Club supporter. For this reason it was decided to use my custom-made transfer system to incorporate his name and the AVFC badge onto the pen. After the main body was trurned and sanded smooth, two coats of cellulose sanding sealer were applied to seal the surface. The transfers were then applied and allowed to fully dry. Next day three coats of lacquer were applied before fully drying. Next another 3 coats were applied, each being lightly sanded after they had dried. Finally, after the 6 coats of lacquer the pen body way buffed with a soft cloth and high quality wax polish.

The metalwork is finished in a high gloss deep gold plating to resist signs of wear. The wavy shaped clip is unusual and fits in well with the rounded push button top.

This pen has a nice smooth, light, click action to extend and retract the tip which is supplied with a standard black Parker style refill. To change the refil simply unscrew the gold plated conical tip and remove the ink refill ensuring the spring is not lost.

This unique pen came about following an enquiry from Athens. The specification was for 22ct gold plated fittings but with either a dark blue or brown acrylic body. Following email conversations the client decided on this chocolate swirl acrylic body. I must admit I wasnt sure about the choice of colour initially , but seeing the finished pen I think the finished pen looks very sumptuous and regal.

The pen has been made by hand turning a piece of the Beretta Walnut stock and finishing it to a mirror polish. All external components are glossy gunmetal plating to provide durable and dependable service. The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions.

The woodwork was sanded six times with progressively finer grit abrasive to create a very smooth surface. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

Key Ring Pen – Green with Yellow Swirl – 707009

Having made a few key ring pens which proved very popular. I decided to make this as a commission as a gift for my wife’s friend
This particular pen is made from attractive green with yellow swirl pattern acrylic.
The material blank is cut to make the two parts of the pen body. These two blanks are then turned on a wood lathe to the required diameters to fit the 22ct gold plated fittings.
Once the shape has be completed they are sanded smooth using several grades of wet & dry abrasive paper finishing with 1600 grit. Micromesh abrasive is then used in various grade ending up with 12000 grit. Cutting paste is then applied whilst the lathe is spinning and is then buffed to a high gloss. Once complete the various components are assembled using a ‘Parker Mini’ type refill.
The writing tip is extended by twisting the upper and lower body halves, then the opposite rotation to retract for safety. To replace the refill the upper and lower body parts are carefully pulled apart to allow the refill to be removed.
