Taking its inspiration from the world of motor sport, the Race Car stylus ball pen has a unique style. Above the tip are two bands representing a chequered flag, between these is a comfort grip in the form of a tyre. A steering wheel motif on the clip completes styling. The tip has a stylus for use on mobile devices, or you can advance the refill for writing.

The main body of the pen is made from real carbon fibre using tube wound filaments to ensure there is no seam to spoil the effect. A satin gold effect has been selected for the fittings to give an elegant contrast to the dark grey/black of the carbon.

Gear Shift Ballpoint – Carbonfibre – Pewter- 191103

This is an unusual pen design inspired by my best selling bolt action pen mechanism, this Gearshift Antique Pewter pen is an ideal gift for any car enthusiast. Whilst Ive made a few of these ‘gearshift’ pens this is the first time Ive incorporated Carbon Fibre as the main body of the pen. I think it fits well as a high tech material as used in super cars to go with this ‘super-pen’

The mechanism design is based on a six-speed H pattern car gear change and can be shifted just like the real thing! Authenticity abounds; The cap features a car tyre with a true to life tread and hubcap. The tip features the same tyre tread as the cap. The gear knob includes an etched five-speed pattern. And the industrialised crowbar clip attaches to the body with two small screws rounds to out the design. The refill fully advances at the front of the shifter and fully retracts at the back of the shifter. The design uses a popular Parker style refill which can be accessed by unscrewing the tip to reveal the refill. Replacement is simply a reverse of the process.

Carbon Fibre Hexagonal Roller Ball – 911001

This unique rollerball pen is based on the same design ideas as the Vertex ballpoints I make. This version however looks extremely stylish due to its dark gunmetal plated parts and its removable cap.

The pen is ergonomically designed to be comfortable in prolonged use. The all gunmetal plated cap is secured in place either covering the tip or onto the top of the pen using hidden magnets. This means there are no visible screw threads to gather dirt or scratch.

The centre section is made using’ tube wound’ carbon fibre, meaning that there is no seam to the weave. Epoxy resin encases the carbon weave to give a smooth glossy finish

The tip unscrews to reveal a Schmidt L888 ceramic refill available at most good stationary stores.

You’ll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.
